Story of a picture (24 frames):

At the beginning of this activity, children watched the trailer of "24 frames", the latest film by the late prominent Iranian director, Abbas Kiarostam. In this work, which is an installation of films and photos, we see 24 short films of 4.30 minutes in which still images are animated. These still images are mostly photos taken by Kiarostami has over the period of 40 years.
"Each of these frames is actually four minutes and thirty seconds of the what I imagined to be happening before and after capturing every single shot," said Kiarostami.
Imagining what happened before and after the shot of each photo was the idea and concept based on which we began this activity, which was of course introduced to the children in a simpler way. Accordingly, different still frames of the film were given to the children to choose one, look at it carefully, and then describe what they see in the picture. Afterwards they were asked to narrate their own imagination of what was going on in the pictures. (To visualise the moments before and after the specific moment of the photo being captured).

The story (plot) of this artwork: One day two boys dragged hard a big tree to their house, their house already become a forest. Then they saw Elsa and Oinar; an orange fell on the head of one boy, and an apple fell on the other’s head. Then the boys invited Elsa and Oilar to their home and all they played in the forest.

Story: One day I went to a forest where I had an appointment with my friends. I wanted to have a picnic. In the forest I had my horse and my kitten with me. I saw my friends and I went to them, then we played. Elsa had a big long kite. It was twisted and it had a bow tie. Then we went, I saw three butterflies attached to the trees and were playing. A rabbit was behind the trees. There were fish and shark in the sea. The shark chased the rabbit when the fish asked it not to chase the rabbit, so the shark went toward the fish. The rabbit jumped to water and kicked the shark. The horses ran after the rabbit.
